Dr. Eugene "Doc" Hussey dedicated more than 50 years of his life to
the leadership of Fryeburg Fair.
The North Conway, NH veterinarian established Eastern Slope Farm in 1967 and
loved raising and showing
his Percherons. He retired from the North Conway Veterinary Hospital in 2004.
An award in Doc's
memory was
established this year for the outstanding team of draft show horses.
