OUR NEW AGRICULTURAL DISCOVERY CENTER
Located in the former Horse Drawn Wagon Building, our new Agricultural Discovery Center is open 9-9 for all 9 days of Fryeburg Fair! It's exciting & new. There will be a raffle happening in the building to support our growing & evolving ag ed department. The raffle is for your very own raised cedar garden bed, soil, seeds for next spring, gardening tools, and books on gardening and farming. The new building will be filled with hands on activities, interactive displays, and more for all. Please come by.
The SCAVENGER HUNT for kids (K-12) continues and promotes agricultural education for each of them! This year there are small daily prizes and an Agricultural Explorer pin for participants with a daily grand prize drawing for kids that complete all 15 stops. Forms to participate can be picked up across the fairgrounds and turned in at the Ag Discovery Center. Fun & education at the same time!

ABOUT AG ED
The Agricultural Education Department was created with a focus on educating, promoting, and engaging fairgoers on the importance of agriculture in our society, and the impact that it has on our everyday lives. While many of our events and programs across the fairgrounds contribute to this effort, the fair has added the new Agricultural Discovery Center for fairgoers to learn more about agriculture each year.
We look forward to seeing you at the fair and hope you take advantage of our new programming!
